Description
Anastrozole is the only FDA-approved aromatase inhibitor, designed to reduce estrogen levels in post-menopausal breast cancer patients. Unlike other hormone therapy medicines, Arimidex also has the ability to stimulate the release of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), two hormones essential to natural testosterone production.
Arimidex (Anastrozole) Side Effects
Arimidex is one of the best anti-estrogen compounds on the market. It’s also useful during anabolic steroid cycles because it helps reduce estrogenic side effects, prevent Gynecomastia, and reduce water retention.
It is recommended for males 1mg every 2nd day, with a long cycle length that should be subtlety planned based on your goals – generally 1 to 4 months for most purposes. Females should not take this product due to possible weight gain effects secondary to elevated estrogens.
Arimidex (Anastrozole) Effect
Arimidex is an aromatase inhibitor, meaning it prevents the conversion of testosterone into estrogen. Estrogen can cause gynecomastia in male bodybuilders and unwanted breast tissue growth in women. Properly inhibiting this enzyme will reduce serum levels of estrogens while maintaining normal estrogen receptor function. This means Arimidex offers protection to muscular up-taking effects which are desirable for athletes who use both prohormones (a class of drugs that act like steroids) and anabolic steroids to amplify their gains beyond what they would achieve by following a diet alone. Further, the sparing effect Arimidex has on pro-hormone receptors will help prevent water retention or excess water weight gain, allowing individuals to maintain muscle
